Is Twitch down?

Down for everyone, or just you?

Our probe runs from a UK data centre, so it answers one question well: is Twitch reachable from outside your network? If our check succeeds but Twitch is not working for you, work through these in order:

1. Try another network: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or use a different connection.
2. Try another device or browser, and a private window to rule out extensions and cached sessions.
3. Restart your router if other sites are slow too.
4. Check whether colleagues or friends in another location are affected: a regional outage can be real even when our probe succeeds.

Common signs of a Twitch outage

• Streams buffer or fail to start on every device you try
• Sign-in or the store fails while the app itself opens
• Matchmaking or online play fails for a whole friend group
• Downloads and updates stall at the same point repeatedly

Seeing several of these at once, across different networks and devices, points to a genuine service problem rather than a local one.
