Setting up your first monitoring check is straightforward with Pulse Stack™. Navigate to your dashboard and select 'Create Monitor' to begin. You'll find several monitoring options available:
Simply enter your URL or IP address, configure your preferences, and Pulse Stack™ will begin monitoring immediately. For keyword monitoring, specify text that should appear (or disappear) to trigger alerts.
Heartbeat monitoring operates differently from traditional uptime checks. Instead of Pulse Stack™ reaching out to test your service, your application or server sends regular 'ping' requests to a unique URL we provide.
This monitoring type excels for internal systems, scheduled tasks, and cron jobs that need oversight. When your system stops sending these regular check-ins, Pulse Stack™ detects the silence and triggers downtime notifications.
Perfect for monitoring backup processes, data imports, or any automated tasks running behind firewalls where external monitoring cannot reach.
Pulse Stack™ accepts all major payment cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. All transactions are securely processed through Stripe for maximum protection.
Refund Terms: While subscriptions can be cancelled at any time without future charges, advance payments are generally non-refundable. Exception: payments made within the past 10 days qualify for full refunds.
Managing Your Subscription: Access your account settings to update payment details, modify your plan, or cancel your subscription. You'll need to complete verification steps to confirm cancellation requests.
Download invoices anytime through your account's payment history section for expense tracking and accounting purposes.
Enhance your monitoring with additional SMS and voice call credits, available for both free and premium accounts:
Credit Usage Notes: Most countries consume 1 credit per SMS, though some regions require 2-5 credits. Voice calls typically use 2 credits regardless of destination. Credits don't expire and can be set to auto-refill when running low.
Important: Verification messages for contact changes also consume credits from your balance.
When monitors appear offline or unresponsive, check these common causes:
Grey Status ('No Data'): If your monitor shows no data after one hour, this typically indicates a configuration problem. Verify your URL is accessible and contact our support team for assistance.
Missing Notifications: Ensure your alert contacts are properly configured in the monitor settings. Each monitor requires assigned contacts to send notifications when issues occur.
False Positives: Review your monitor's advanced settings including custom status codes, authentication requirements, and SSL configurations. Incorrect settings can cause legitimate uptime to register as downtime.
Your dashboard provides detailed logs including timestamps, response codes, and failure reasons to help diagnose problems quickly.
