Is Heroku down?

Down for everyone, or just you?

Our probe runs from a UK data centre, so it answers one question well: is Heroku reachable from outside your network? If our check succeeds but Heroku is not working for you, work through these in order:

1. Try another network: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or use a different connection.
2. Try another device or browser, and a private window to rule out extensions and cached sessions.
3. Restart your router if other sites are slow too.
4. Check whether colleagues or friends in another location are affected: a regional outage can be real even when our probe succeeds.

Common signs of a Heroku outage

• Your own sites or APIs hosted on the platform go down together
• Deployments hang or fail at the provisioning step
• The provider's own dashboard or control panel will not load
• DNS lookups for hosted services start failing

Seeing several of these at once, across different networks and devices, points to a genuine service problem rather than a local one.
